Kombucha, originated in the Far East, is a fermented tea created by introducing bacteria and yeast to sweetened tea. The bacteria and yeast introduced to the tea feeds off of the sugar resulting in a non-sweetened, highly nutritious drink containing vinegar, B-vitamins, enzymes, #probiotics, and a variety of acids (acetic, gluconic, lactic). Kombucha is commonly known as the "Immortal Health Elixir" and has been made and ingested by the Chinese for over 2,000 years. When ingested internally, #kombucha can aid digestion, boost immunity, cleanse and detox, and reduce joint pain. When externally applied, kombucha's antiseptic qualities and #organic acids can improve skin complexion. While there is much anecdotal support of its health claims, there is still little scientific research confirming the benefits of kombucha. Today, most studies center of animal research rather than on human clinical trials.

Silver Market Co brews its own kombucha using organic green tea and sugar cane! We allow our brews to ferment for approximately 30 days in order to transform the kombucha into a kombucha vinegar to be used as a facial astringent. Kombucha vinegar contains amino acids, enzymes, and #probiotics that feed and nourish the skin. Our special toners have helped many of our customers battle acne and rosacea.
