Counter Point Cooperative is a shared brick and mortar space located in downtown Point Pleasant, WV. The space was designed and established by Marqkita Sexton, Ashley Wamsley, and Kelsi Boyd. This space serves as Silver Market Co.'s brick and mortar headquarters, but is now shared by over fifteen Appalachian artisans. A large variety of our products, along with other handmade goods can be found here on Main Street just next to the Historic Lowe Hotel and famous Mothman Museum.
The Lowe Hotel is located at 401 Main Street, Point Pleasant, WV. This historical hotel opened in the early 1900's and is often booked by those seeking ghostly experiences. While the hotel is predominantly known by outsiders for its haunting tales, owner Ruth Finley, a lifetime supporter of the arts, has opened its connecting Gallery at 409 to the town's local artists. When visiting the Lowe, you will be acquainted with historical architecture and preservation while also getting a front row seat to a live creation of local art.
Counter Point Cooperative is located at 424 Main Street, Point Pleasant, WV. Counter Point hosts a large variety of locally and regionally handmade items such as pottery, hand loomed rugs, wood working, and screen printing.
Hours of operation are Thursday - Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
